At POLYTECH, a "Superior" rated school, our students are afforded the unique opportunity to blend high-level academic concepts with technical skills through an integrated, applied curriculum. This empowers our students, upon graduation, to choose the workplace and/or an institute of higher learning to advance their skill levels. To enhance this approach, POLYTECH combines a dedicated staff, tremendous parental support and a safe school climate to assist our students in becoming independent, lifelong learners who are well prepared to contribute positively to the society of the 21st century. Numerous part-time School-to-Work/Co-operative Education situations allow qualified students to receive advanced training on site, at the workplace, while they use modern technology and equipment to hone their skills in the classrooms and the twenty one career technical areas. In addition, students have the potential to earn college credit through several Tech-Prep arrangements with local colleges. Students can participate in a variety of activities at POLYTECH including band and chorus, DECA,SkillsUSA,FEA, BPA, FFA, National Honor Society, a complete sports program and Air Force Jr. ROTC. Homecoming, prom, and pep rallies round out a student's year. POLYTECH has raised the expectancies for student achievement. Our staff and students have accepted that challenge and have developed POLYTECH into a school where students are smiling while they are achieving.
